Selina Avery, make-up, hair, wardrobe, and stylist. Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, Selina is no new comer to the industry of fashion and beauty. At a very young age it was always known that she possessed many creative abilities in many areas. At the age of 12 or 13, while growing up in a single parent family of six, Selina took notice that her mother could not always take her brother to the barber shop for hair cuts. One day she decided that she would get the clippers and give her younger brother a haircut. Noticing how good of a job she had done, especially for the first time, her brothers friends, her cousins and other neighbors would come to get haircuts and styling services. 

Having 20 years experience, Selina has worked on numerous projects as the key make-up and stylist coordinator for fashion magazines, music videos, commercials, feature films, and television episodes. Highlights of Selina’s career have been with celebrities such as Omar Tyree “Fly Girl Magazine”, Big Bronze Music Video. Ruby Dee and Diahann Carroll with CBS movie “Having Our Say” and on set with the feature horror movie “Carrie 2 the Rage”. Most recently participated in a project where she was afforded to meet Serena and Venus Williams while doing hair and make-up of the project they were working on for the Ronald McDonald House charity her Charlotte.  

Selina is currently working on various projects with renowned actor, author, director Vince Paul of Talent Link in Charlotte, NC where she is the make-up, hair stylist,/ wardrobe stylist, and photo session director.
Selina continues to pursue other exciting ventures in her field and always LOVING what she is Godly gifted to do.
